Axl continues to inspire fashion

Last year "Stephanie & Axl" was the name of House and Holland's new line. This year Axl's image is again inspiring fashionistas. I'd sure like to see that video.
The location: The Brick Building (8870 Washington Boulevard) in Culver City, where Valerj Pobega is showing her clothing alongside work by her artist husband Mattia Biaggi. The skinny: In a season heavily dominated by 80s influences, it makes sense that Pobega's inspiration for her new collection was Axl Rose. Celebs spotted: None, although shades of Guns 'n' Roses were everywhere. "I wanted to do something different this season, and produced a video rather than a runway show, in which the model plays Axl Rose as an alien who just got dropped off on planet earth—of course wearing my clothes," Valerj explains. The video was being projected against one of the walls of the venue while "Paradise City" delivered the soundtrack.

Robin Finck is OUT DJ Ashba IN....

And the newest member of the GnR entourage is this guy, DJ Ashba. Interesting name. DJ Ashba is known for co-producing Motley Crue and working on side projects with Nikki Sixx. Axl says of DJ Ashba's addition:
“DJ’s a gifted, energetic guitarist that Guns n’ Roses is proud to have on board! We’re very excited to have the opportunity to work together. Guns’ radar has silently been aware of DJ’s presence for quite some time! He brings a fresh approach to our particular brand of mayhem expanding the tapestry of Guns n’ Roses live. Once DJ’s name was in the hat, the hat disappeared!”
Robin has left the band to rejoin NIN.

Slash Sucks...

Ok, that's not really fair, he was nice to me when I met him. In fact he was really nice, he not only autographed a book for me, but he also drew a picture in it. Doesn't change the fact that he's working with the UK's Britain's got talent. Is it me or is this super weak? Slash sells out again?

GnR touring with Van Halen! Wha?

Rumor has it that GnR might tour with Van Halen. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It has potential for greatness. I saw the GnR/Metallica tour back in the day at Giants Stadium. It ruled. So maybe it's a good thing... if it's happening.
